Date: 11/30/2011

AA+A alumnus and adjunct faculty-member, Nick Eipers, and his record label, Chicago Sessions, featured in the Riverside-Brookfield Landmark, November 29, 2011.

Nick graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Audio Arts + Acoustics in 1994.  He continued in the field as a recording engineer and producer and then founded Chicago Sessions in 2008 with the mission to “to release work by Chicago talent only and to release albums featuring only original compositions-no jazz standards or covers.”  Eighteen albums have been released under the Chicago Sessions label with “Nostalgiamaniac” garnering “Best of the Year” kudos from “Downbeat Magazine.”

You can follow Chicago Sessions on Facebook and the Audio Arts + Acoustics Department

Nick has been instrumental in developing the Audio Design and Production curriculum for the AA+A Department and will be teaching two sections of Recording I in the Spring 2012 semester.
