Best Traditional Blues Recording – Mississippi Heat – “Let’s Live It Up”
Michael Freeman, Grammy Nominated producer and AA+A Part-Time Faculty member wins a “Best Traditional Blues Recording” 2010 Blues Blast Music Award for “Mississippi Heat: Let’s Live It Up” at the 2010 Blues Blast Music Awards announced Thursday night October 29th, at Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago.
Produced by Band Leader Pierre Lacocque and Grammy Nominated Producer Michael Freeman for the Delmark label, the record has held position for several weeks this summer in the Top Ten on Blues radio charts nationwide and garnered acclaimed press reviews since it’s release.
