The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) is accepting resumes from currently enrolled graphic design students (undergraduate junior, senior or graduate level) for a paid graphic design internship position. The MWRD is the agency that reversed the Chicago River and dug the Deep Tunnel System. We are responsible for improving water quality and preventing flooding in the Chicago region and are currently undertaking outreach to foster greater public involvement in the water environment and to educate the public about our work and areas of responsibility.
The graphic design intern will be a part of our public affairs team and will have opportunities to contribute to a wide range of design projects. Duties may include graphic design, layout, typesetting, illustration, and information graphics for print and web.
This is a great opportunity for a student who wants to make a meaningful contribution, gain practical experience and develop their portfolio.
