Referencing the Erró: American Comics exhibition currently on display at Mana Contemporary Chicago, Perkins will examine the 2010 lawsuit filed against Icelandic artist Erró by Tank Girl creator Brian Bolland as a case study in the
nuances of copyright law for artists. The workshop will introduce
participants to the process of identifying and implementing copyright
protection needs for their creative practice and other intellectual
property issues.
