In conjunction with the Chicago Artists Resource video series Survival Guide, this workshop will cover the often-complex income tax filing needs for artists and other creative practitioners. Janet Ecklebarger will guide participants through the process of identifying and accounting for diverse income streams (from freelance day jobs to grant awards and sales), reporting deductible expenses, and other useful financial processes including recordkeeping, DBA banking, and fiscal sponsorship agreements.
