This has to be Michael Freeman’s year! Following impressive nods from both the “Blues Blast” and “Keeping the Blues Alive”Music Awards, the Grammy Nominated producer and AA+A Part-Time Faculty just received another Grammy Nomination for Best Traditional Blues Album in 2010!

The recognition is for “Joined At The Hip” a Telarc album that Michael mixed and produced for Blues icons Pinetop Perkins and Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, both Muddy Waters alumni. What is more, three AA+A students, Chris Powley, Bob Garcia, and Nick Ledesma assisted on the sessions at Joyride Studios, where they were interning, and proudly share the honor of having contributed to a Grammy Nominated recording!
