Chicago’s Theater Wit has extended its hit production of Mr. Burns, a post-electric play, Anne Washburn’s comedy/drama/musical about a post-apocalyptic world comforted by memories of The Simpsons. The show’s production team includes Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department faculty member Andra Velis Simon as musical director and band leader, and student Spencer Meeks is assistant musical director and a member of the band. Columbia Theatre alumnus Geoff Coates is the show’s stage violence director. And understudies Ann Delaney, Rachel Melius, and Jared Grant are Columbia alumni.
