Otherworld Theatre, a company founded and led by Columbia College Chicago Theatre alumni, presents its annual Paragon Play Festival April 17 through 27. The festival – the world’s largest celebration of science fiction and fantasy theatre – showcases 30 original short plays from playwrights across the globe, bringing bold new worlds to life on stage. As previously reported in this blog, Otherworld Theatre Company was founded in June 2012 by Columbia College alum Tiffany Keane Schaefer ’12, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing Program, with a mission to bring a theatrical experience to the science fiction and fantasy genre.
