Columbia College Chicago Theatre Dept. Alum’s New Play Runs June 9-17 in Impostors Theatre’s ‘Footholds’

A new play by Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Alex Fortune ’17 — a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Playwriting — will be presented in the Impostors Theatre Company‘s Footholds Vol. 4, the company’s fourth installment of its anthology series featuring new works by Chicago-area playwrights.

Fortune’s play, Narrative Machine Broke, is one of five short works linked by a common starting point or “foothold”: “a small trolley car–coming, going, or stationed at an unanticipated stop.” Footholds June 9 through 17 at the Den Theatre, located at 1331 N.
