Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department Alums Bring Musical ‘Children of Eden’ to Cadillac Palace Oct. 15

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni are in the cast and creative team of a staged concert presentation of Stephen Schwartz and John Caird’s musical Children of Eden that will play at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in downtown Chicago for two performances on Saturday, October 15, at 2 and 8 PM.

The show’s performing ensemble includes Columbia College alums Caitlin Dobbins ’20, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Musical Theatre BA program, and Dominic Rescigno ’13, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting. The lighting designer is Columbia College alum Brandon Lewis ’08, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre Design. This concert version of Children of Eden is produced by the Chicagoland Theatre Fund and Onesti Entertainment. Children of Eden, freely based on the Biblical Book of Genesis, explores the age old relationship between parent and child and celebrates the beauty of family and the human spirit.
