Columbia College Chicago Theatre Alumni Talent Featured in Porchlight Music Theatre’s ‘New Faces Sing Broadway 1975’ June 5-6

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and student talent is featured in Porchlight Music Theatre‘s New Faces Sing Broadway 1975, which plays at the Skokie Theatre on Tuesday, June 5, and then at the Arts Club of Chicago on Wednesday, June 6. The show — a revue of musical theatre songs from 1975 — features Columbia alum Koray Tarhan ’13, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, and Aalon Smith, a current student in the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance. Both Tarhan and Smith are in Porchlight’s current production of the musical Memphis, which has been extended through June 16.

New Faces Sing Broadway 1975 features selections from Broadway musicals that played in 1975, including A Chorus Line, The Wiz, and Chicago. The Skokie Theatre is located at 7924 Lincoln Avenue in the northern Chicago suburb of Skokie. And the Arts Club of Chicago is located at 201 E. Ontario, Chicago.
