The Columbia Chronicle, Columbia College Chicago’s award-winning student newspaper, highlighted three Columbia College Theatre Department alumni in its March 30, 2015, edition. In “Columbia Alums Shine in Goodman Theatre Play,” contributing writer Sadie Miller interviewed Columbia grads A.C. Smith and Chester Gregory, costars of Goodman Theatre’s acclaimed new production of August Wilson’s drama Two Trains Running, which has been extended through April 19. (Smith and Gregory will be speaking to Columbia College Theatre students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, April 1, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at the Theatre Department.)
And in “Professor Balances Two Professional Lives,” Chronicle reporter Megan Bennett profiled Theatre grad Brian Shaw, now a teacher at the Theatre Department. In the article Shaw discussed his performance in The Hypocrites’ much-praised production of Samuel Beckett’s Endgame, which runs through April 5.
