Columbia College Theatre Department alumni–performers, designers, and entrepreneurs–are gearing up for a busy Spring 2015 season in Chicago’s vibrant theatre scene.
Acting alumna Lindsey Gavel will play Masha in The Hypocrites‘ production of Chekhov’s Three Sisters, running April 17-June 6 at The Den Theatre, 1329 N. Milwaukee, Chicago. Tickets are available here.
The Foundling’s Theatre Company, whose cofounder and managing director is Musical Theatre alumnus D.J. Douglass, is offering the Midwest premiere of To the New Girl, Sound Advice from My Former Husband’s Wife or Mistress, a dark comedy by Samantha Macher. “This ain’t no ‘chick flick’ play. This is a ‘fight club’ with a dark sense of humor and a woman’s touch,” says Douglass’ press release for the show, which runs March 25-April 11 at Berger Park Coach House, 6205 N. Sheridan, Chicago.
