As mentioned in my previous post, it has officially been one whole semester working on my business venture Amaiya’s Atelier. This venture is a fashion styling agency for young professionals and creatives within the Chicagoland area. These past few months have been filled with tremendous hard work and dedication to launch, scale, and sustain my brand. So far I have gained the knowledge and skillset to confidently build my own website, purchase my domain, file and receive my LLC through Articles of Organization, establish a business bank account, file for my EIN number, and publish a marketing campaign. Each of these steps were not easy and I am still learning and growing every day but I am so proud of myself for not only being able to learn and comprehend each of the elements within the classroom but immediately applying them to my real world.
