Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alums are featured in Links Hall‘s THAW 2021: ABUNDANCE online performance event on Monday, February 8, at 7 PM. Featuring both pre-recorded and live performances from Links Hall and off-site locations — including dance, music, puppetry, installation, and more — the program celebrates Chicago’s imagination, joy, generosity, and collective ABUNDANCE. THAW 2021: ABUNDANCE is produced by a multi-disciplinary creative team that includes Columbia College alum Erin Kilmurray ’08, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BA Program in Dance.
Among the performers, in addition to Kilmurray, are Columbia College alums Marceia Scruggs ’17, Aaliyah Christina ’16, and Rachel Bunting ’01, all graduates of the Dance Center’s Dance BA program. Bunting is also a movement instructor at the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department. Also performing are Columbia College alums Hannah Santistevan ’16 and Tia Monet Greer ’13, both graduates of the Dance Center’s BFA Program in Dance; Columbia alum Dedrick Gray ’15, a graduate of the Columbia College Chicago Business and Entrepreneurship Department‘s BA Program in Marketing; and former Columbia College Theatre Department student Bethany Thomas.
