Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alum Trinity Dawn Bobo ’16, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BFA Program in Dance, has become company manager of ChristinaNoel & The Creature, a dance company based in Brooklyn, New York. Bobo, a freelance dancer, choreographer, and visual artist who hails from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, moved to New York last September, after graduating from Columbia College, and began working with The Creature as a dancer. She became company manager at the start of 2017, while continuing to dance with the company as well.

Founded in 2011 by ChristinaNoel Reaves, ChristinaNoel & The Creature focuses on creating a hybrid performance medium utilizing the dancers’ voices, bodies, and drawing from their perspectives. Their work envelopes viewers visually and aurally in multi-textured environments derived from human connections and encounters. The Creature is dedicated to creating a space that facilitates dialogue and educational outreach by striving to expand conventional ideas of dance performance.
