Mission: Near South Planning Board (NSPB) is a not-for-profit organization serving the businesses, institutions and stakeholders on the Near South Side. Our mission is to plan, guide, and support a program of development for the area. Since 1946, NSPB has been instrumental in the revitalization efforts of the Near South. With our members forming one cohesive voice, we are able to accomplish tremendous change.

Reports to: President & Executive Director

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Recruit new members through cold calls, site visits, prospecting, and participation in appropriate
business-to-business and community functions
• Create meaningful relationships with current and prospective members
• Promote member benefits through social media
• Assist with the creation and production of membership marketing materials
• Work closely with membership taskforce
• Solicit in-kind partnerships as appropriate
• Facilitate retention by responding quickly and efficiently to member questions
• Produce monthly networking events and assist with membership luncheon or breakfast meetings
• Provide administrative support as needed
