The Chicago Humanities Festival’s mission is to ensure that the arts and the humanities are a part of everyday life. CHF promotes the humanities as central to lifelong learning and essential for an educated citizenry. Collaborating with nearly 40 of Chicago’s major cultural and educational institutions, CHF produces over 150 events annually. CHF also produces educational programs
throughout the year, including professional development for teachers, as well as stewards a vibrant online home for the humanities. CHF has an international reputation for innovation and creativity, featuring an exceptional roster of writers, scholars, performers, and visual artists in its programs and online.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manager, Production, calls for a creative, conscientious and energetic individual who can successfully collaborate with program staff to direct various programs, events, and performances, including CHF Winter‐Spring, with events January to May with a full weekend of programming April 28‐May 1; and the Fall Festival in October and November. This person maintains the operating, administrative, and communications systems related to all such programs. CHF is looking for a uniquely talented individual with interest and experience in all forms of public programming and performing arts. This is a full time, permanent position. Salary is commensurable to experience. An excellent benefits package is provided.
