The Chicago International Film Festival is seeking a Public Relations Intern who will work with the Publicity & Marketing Team during the upcoming festival season. This internship is designed to give real-world experience in both publicity and marketing of a nonprofit cultural organization. The intern works directly with Publicity Managers, the Marketing Team and other staff members to assist in developing and assisting with publicity for the films and events at the 51st Chicago International Film Festival, October 15-29, 2015.
Responsibilities include: facilitating press-related events such as screenings, media check-in, press conferences, filmmaker interviews, film premieres, and manage press breaks. The position will also involve some general administrative duties. Flexible hours and start date, minimum 20 hours per week, more hours required during the Festival.
