Research Intern: Engagement and participation, as assigned, in activities including but not limited to: Gathering information, articles, video links, and scholarly documentations related to guest companies on the presenting series for organization and accessibility for faculty and students; conducting research for lead curator on artists/companies under consideration for future seasons; archival and documentation work related to organizing and maintaining presenting series archives of written material and written documentation of video archive; occasional writing/blogging about artists on the presenting series.

Communications Intern: Engagement and participation, as assigned, in activities including but not limited to: Working with Dance Presenting Series Program Coordinator, Department Academic Coordinator, Media and Technology & Social Media Team (aka Social Meteors) on social media communications related to the Presenting Series and the academic “dense pack;” producing posters and programs for dense pack (other than Senior Concerts); contributing to Dance Center website (blogging, etc) and student FB page; securing and posting photos and generally populating Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts; working in cooperation with Production Intern on developing and tracking deadlines as they relate to promotion and residency activities; providing support for creation of residency packets for guest companies and coordinating ground transportation for residency activities; distribution of collateral materials as assigned.

Production Intern: Engagement and participation, as assigned, in activities including but not limited to: development of academic “dense pack” schedule including auditions as applicable; tracking deadlines in cooperation with Communications Intern; working with Technical Director to assess and source production needs, and to design and implement weekly tech schedule; distribute deadline information sheets with Technical Director; one or more experiences on technical crew for presenting series and/or academic dense pack performances, as assigned by Technical Director; working in cooperation with Communications Intern on information exchange with faculty leaders about presenting series residency activities, particularly as they relate to production activities. Assist in guest artist creature comforts – help tidy dressing room, purchase and place hospitality food and water, etc.
