Job Description:
GEMS World Academy’s after school program is accepting resumes and cover letters for the 2015-16 school year. GEMS World Academy-Chicago offers positions to local artists to organize, promote, lead, and teach an art program they would design for for youth in an after school art room setting.

Qualifications:
Applicants for the after school art club instructor position must be comfortable teaching school age students. Ability to improvise and create an art program within your specialty (drawing, painting, sculpting, animating, fashion design, ceramics, 3-D printing, etching, or crafts), understanding of art history within your specialty, and familiarity with and understanding of art tools needed to create art with children in your specialty, all highly recommended and should be addressed in résumé. Must be highly dependable and a good communicator.
