Paid Writing Internship (Academic Year Semester or Summer): Bustle is searching for writing interns who specialize in one of our site’s verticals: news/politics, entertainment, fashion/beauty, lifestyle, or books. Interns work directly with the vertical’s editor to contribute daily news posts, features, and originally reported pieces (yep!). Applicants should be recent college graduates or in their final years and should be looking to build a clips portfolio to pursue a career in journalism. Past interns have gone on to work or intern at Nymag.com, AOL/The Huffington Post, NBC News, Penguin/Random House, The Knot, Esquire, BuzzFeed, The Atlantic, The New Republic, Marie Claire, Brides, GQ, Entertainment Weekly, Forbes, SELF, and more. Applicants should have proven writing skills, experience pitching stories, a wealth of ideas, and be passionate about one of the following topics:

– News
– Politics (summer 2015 interns will be covering the 2016 election)
– Entertainment
– Fashion/Beauty
– Lifestyle (women’s issues, relationships, sexuality, feminism, food, health)
– Web Culture (all things Internet: relatable lists, viral videos/photos, cats, etc.)
– Books

Creative Writers: ENTERTAINMENT/TV WRITERS, NEWS/POLITICS WRITER, OVERNIGHT WRITERS, WEB PRODUCERS, Fashion Writers, Web Culture/Viral Writers, Books Feature Writers, Lifestyle Writers, Sex/Dating/Relationships Writers, Reporters/Freelance Contributors, Branded Content Writers 

Social Media and Public Relations Internships: Interns for both positions should have prior experience in their chosen field and will work remotely. Deadlines are flexible and rolling so apply when you can!

Photography/Video Production Internship: Interns should be able to work from our Manhattan office and have past experience and/or internships with photography, film, and/or video production. Totally fine if it’s one or the other! Deadlines are flexible as this position is rolling.
