Creative Industry Liaison, Melissa Hennessy Reviews Portfolios at this Year’s PDN PhotoPlus Expo

Photo District News’ (PDN) official Portfolio Review at the PhotoPlus Expo is the largest and most comprehensive portfolio review program for professional and emerging professional photographers in the U.S.  Portfolio Center’s very own, Melissa Hennessy attended the huge event last week in NYC. As a Creative Industry Liaison for Business & Entrepreneurship, Dance, Fashion, and Photography industries, Melissa was invited to review portfolios and scope out some of the industry’s latest technology. She was especially impressed with the new RED Dragon camera and lens line, used to shoot the movies Gone Girl and Dumb and Dumber To.   While she was there, Melissa was sure to take in the season’s Halloween and Fall-time festivities by attending Workbook’s annual Creative Carnival, and PDN’s Monster Bash. She also caught up with Columbia College Chicago alumni photographers David Paul Larson, Jordana Absidiris, Stephanie Garcia, Katie Levine, Jolie Greenstone, and Jason Robinette.  They are all living what they love in NY!
