‘United States of Amnesia’ Previews at Columbia College Chicago Theatre Dept. Sept. 2-3 Prior to Appearing at the NEW NOW Festival in Amsterdam

The Room | 916 Collective, an ensemble of Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and students, will present two free preview performances of their original devised work United States of Amnesia, which has been invited to appear in the NEW NOW Festival in Amsterdam.

The free previews, open to the general public as well as the Columbia College Chicago community, take place at 4:30 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, September 2 and 3, at the Columbia College Theatre Center, 72 E. 11th St. in Chicago’s South Loop. The performances take place in Room 111. The work is developed and performed by Hannah Burt, Travis Coe, Will Green, Will Greenburg, Charles Ha, Dior J. Stephens, Emma Ladji, and Rachel Minkoff.

As previously reported in this blog, the Room | 916 Collective are be the only American artists selected to participate in the cutting-edge NEW NOW Festival, a competitive juried international event sponsored by the European League of Institutes of the Arts. The festival takes place September 9-13 at Amsterdam’s historic Westergasfabriek culture park.
