Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Danielle Jackman ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Dance from the Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, is spending the 2021 winter holiday season in Chicago as a cast member of the musical Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn, opening December 2, 2021, and running through January 9, 2022, at Drury Lane Theatre in the Chicago suburb of Oakbrook Terrace. Danielle Jackman
Jackman, an Atlanta native who now lives in New Jersey — and who teaches dance in New Jersey and New York City as well as performing in East Coast regional productions — previously appeared in Drury Lane’s 2017 production of Saturday Night Fever as well as in shows at other Chicago-area theatres, including the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire (Singin’ in the Rain), Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights (Rent), and the Paramount Theatre in Aurora (Hairspray).
