Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alums and faculty are in the cast and creative team of POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive. This satirical look at the women in charge of the man in charge runs October 26 through December 10 at the internationally renowned Steppenwolf Theatre, located at 1650 N. The show’s cast includes Columbia College alum Caroline Neff ’07, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting.

As previously reported in this blog, Joseph Jefferson Award-winning actor Neff is a Steppenwolf ensemble member.

The show’s creative team includes Columbia College Theatre Department faculty members Heather Gilbert and Kate DeVore, who are the production’s lighting designer and vocal coach respectively. And Columbia College alum Almanya Narula ’16, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, is the production’s fight choreographer.

POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive is a bawdy and irreverent look at sex, politics, and the women in charge of the man in charge of the free world.
