Robyn Coffin

Update on Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Robyn Coffin ’02, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, and her recurring role on the NBC series Chicago Fire. Coffin plays Cindy Herrmann, wife of Chicago firefighter Lt. Christopher Herrmann, and – as previously reported in this blog – in recent weeks her character has been fighting lung cancer, undergoing surgery and chemotherapy.

In Season 11, Episode 17, which aired March 29, Chicago Fire viewers learned that the therapy completely worked: Cindy: is now totally cancer-free. Chicago Fire airs Wednesdays on NBC.
