Columbia College Chicago Theatre Dept. Alum Directs ‘Babel,’ Running March 23-April 30 at Redtwist Theatre

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Rinska Carrasco-Prestinary ’10, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Theatre, is directing Babel, running March 23 through April 30 at Redtwist Theatre, where Carrasco-Prestinary is associate artistic director. Provocative and unsettling, Babel follows two couples as they try to get pregnant in a dystopian society in the not-so-distant future – a world in which eugenics is the reality. This dark comedy explores the value society places on a child, on one’s free will and the future generations of the human race.
