Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Shelby Lynn Bias ’18, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, is featured in First Folio Theatre‘s production of the classic story Little Women.

In this new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved 1868 novel about four sisters growing up in 19th-century New England, Bias – who followed up her Columbia education with advanced studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland – plays Jo March, a character based on Alcott herself. Little Women runs December 14 through January 15, 2023. There will be matinee performances on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, providing families with a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays together in a celebration of family love. All performances take place at the Mayslake Peabody Estate, located at 1717 31st St., off Rt. 83, in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook. Student discounts are available. For tickets, click here.
