Columbia College Chicago Theatre Dept. Alums Bring One-Woman Show ’20, With Issues’ to Playground Theatre July 26

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alum Emma Sheikh ’18, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, stars in her own one-person show — 20, With Issues — playing one night only: Thursday, July 26, at the Playground Theatre, 3209 N. Halsted, in Chicago’s Belmont Theatre District. Showtime is 10 PM. Admission is $10, and audience members are invited to BYOB. Directed by Columbia College alum David Gallo ’18, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, 20, With Issues is described as  “a one woman show . . . about sex, family, mental illness, race, and milkshakes.” The lighting and sound design are by Columbia College alum Jen Sloan ’17, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s Theatre Directing program.
