Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and faculty are in the cast and creative team for Griffin Theatre Company‘s Chicago premiere of The Harvest, Samuel D. Hunter’s drama about a group of young missionaries preparing to travel to the Middle East.

The cast includes Kathryn Acosta ’11, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting. The show’s lighting designer, Heather Gilbert, is a Columbia College Theatre Department faculty member. Director Jonathan Berry is a former Columbia College Theatre Department faculty member. And former Theatre Department student Spencer Diedrick is assistant director. The show runs July 21 through August 25 at the Den Theatre, 1331 N. Milwaukee, in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.
