Alumni and former students of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department are in the cast of Neverwhere, a theatrical adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel running May 25 through July 15 at Lifeline Theatre in Chicago’s Glenwood Avenue Arts District. The ensemble includes former Theatre Department students Michaela Petro and Dave Skvarla. And Columbia College alums Kim Fukawa ’07, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, and Dakota Hughes ’15, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance, are understudies. The fantasy story is set in a shadow world underneath the city of London.
