Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni and former students are in the cast and creative/production team for Captain Steve’s Caring Kingdom, a new comedy running October 27-December 9 at the Factory Theatre, located at 1623 W. Howard on Chicago’s northern border. This adult-oriented comedy takes a look at the behind-the-scenes world of a children’s TV show, a land filled with talking animals and puppets. The cast includes former Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department student Christopher M. Walsh. The show’s assistant director is Columbia College alum Mandy Walsh ’99,  a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, and alumnus Chas Vrba ’96 is the production’s sound designer.
