Columbia College Chicago Theatre Alum Featured in Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ Starting Oct. 27 and in Nashville Story Garden’s ‘Love Song’ Oct. 28-Nov. 6

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumnus and Aaron Muñoz ’01, a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Acting, joins the cast of the Netflix web television series Stranger Things for its second season starting October 27. Set in the 1980s, the show deals with supernatural goings-on in a fictional Indiana town. Munoz plays Mr. Holland, the father of Barb Holland (played by Shannon Purser). Muñoz also co-stars in the play Love Song, running October 28-November 6 at the Nashville Story Garden, located at 3511 Gallatin Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. Muñoz is also the Nashville Story Garden’s artistic director. The show is directed by former Chicago director Halena Kays, now an assistant professor at Middle Tennessee State University.
