Columbia College Chicago Theatre and Music Student and Alumni Talent Featured in Drury Lane Theatre’s ’42nd Street’ Oct. 26-Jan. 7

Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department student Davon Suttles, a junior in the Theatre Department’s BA Program in Musical Theatre, and Columbia College Chicago Music Department alumnus Tristan Bruns ’09, a graduate of the Music Department’s BA Program in Music with a Concentration in Instrumental Performance, are featured in the musical 42nd Street, running October 26-January 7 (2018) at Drury Lane Theatre in the Chicago suburb of Oakbrook Terrace. Based on the classic 1933 movie musical, the tap-happy show celebrates the world of Broadway musical theatre with such songs as “Lullaby of Broadway,” “We’re in the Money,” and the title tune. Suttles and Bruns are in the ensemble.
