Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department alumni are on the design team for The Hypocrites‘ production of Tennessee Williams’ classic drama The Glass Menagerie, running January 22-March 6 at the Den Theatre, 1329 N. Milwaukee, in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.
The production team for this keenly anticipated new rendition of The Glass Menagerie includes set designer Grant Sabin (BFA ’05), a graduate of the Theatre Department’s BFA Program in Theatre Design; projections designer Paul Deziel (BA ’14), a graduate of Columbia’s BA program in technical theatre; and master electrician John Kelly, an alumnus of the theatre design program.

Deziel, Kelly, and Sabin are also on the production teams for two shows running at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont, in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood:
- Kelly is the lighting designer and Deziel is the projections designer for Mutt, an election-year political satire about a multiracial Republican presidential candidate, presented by Stage Left Theatre and Red Tape Theatre.
