Graduates of the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department‘s Musical Theatre Program are in the company of Side Show, the first show in Porchlight Music Theatre‘s 2015-2016 season. This production is the exclusive first post-Broadway staging of the newly revised version of Side Show, Bill Russell and Henry Krieger’s Tony Award-nominated musical about Daisy and Violet Hilton, conjoined twin circus, vaudeville and movie stars of the 1930s.

The Side Show ensemble includes Columbia College Musical Theatre Program alumni Courtney Mack (BFA ’15) and Jake Ganzer (BA ’15). Mack, who plays “The Tattoo Girl” in the show, is a graduate of Columbia’s BFA Program in Musical Theatre Performance; Ganzer, who understudies the roles of “The 3-Legged Man” and “The Human Pin Cushion,” is a graduate of Columbia’s BA Program in Musical Theatre.

Side Show begins previews September 11 and opens September 15 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. It runs there through October 18. For tickets, click here or call 773-327-5252.
