A whole lot of life: what’s happened since I finished the Journalism program

In my last post, I wrapped up what a great program it had been for my cohort. I think I ended the post by saying that I was taking a leap of faith and moving to Minnesota without a job.Well, thanks to my time at Columbia, all the people I met and experiences I had…I was offered a job in Minneapolis—on the last day of Thesis!

I’m excited to move, but I’m a little overwhelmed! Everything has been such a whirlwind for the past month. I got engaged, finished the Journalism M.A. program, got a new job and am moving out of state. Add to that working full time here and getting sick (thankfully it waited until two days after the program ended).

You guys still have me for one more post after this, which I’ll be writing from Minneapolis. Maybe I’ll get to tell you a little about my new job.

Here’s a big, fat THANK YOU to Columbia.
