Well, the Loyola School of Business bought out our apartment building, and we had to leave…Too bad, because we loved that apartment. However, we LOVE our new place. We are just getting settled in, but we are really falling in love with the place.

Batu and Brittany, a couple of my classmates here, came and helped us move out. It was so kind, and we are very grateful to them!

We had to move out by Friday, but our new place wasn’t ready until Tuesday. So we had some friends that were out of town that offered their home for us to stay in while we were in limbo. We loaded it all in a moving van, parked it in a covered garage, and Tuesday we finally moved in. We can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

So, while I didn’t get all of the projects done over Spring Break that I wanted to, we have somewhere to live and that’s what’s important! Olivia was so cute to finally have our stuff back. She’s only 10 months old, but she knew something was up when we had the apartment in boxes. As we were unloading, the expressions on her face matched how we all felt to finally be in our new place.

Back to work now. We are happy to be back in classes!
