Ginny and Georgia is the new teen drama show that has been a hit for Netflix. It is about Ginny a quiet and shy high school girl who often feels more mature than her mother. And Georgia, the 30 year old dynamic mother who has had a rough upbringing but is trying to settle down and give her kids the stable life she never had. They move to a picturesque suburb in New England where throughout the show they try to adjust to their new life with rich neighbors and different standards than what they’re used to.

Ginny is quick to find her place at the local high school and adjusts well to her new home. Georgia finds her self being chased by her past which puts her and her kids new life at risk. The show has some witty jokes and sentimental moments. In my opinion it is well made but sometimes relies heavily on some high school stereotypes. It is easy to watch and great for a slow weekend to sit back and binge.

Taking it for what it is I would give it a solid 6.8 out of 10.
