Columbia’s Mental Health Resources

Counseling Services and Student Relations are still here to support you! Counseling Services is a great resource if you need help with managing mental health symptoms. Student Relations is an excellent resource if you need help with solving challenging life problems and finding resources both on and off campus. Both offices are staffed by social workers and counselors that work collaboratively to deliver holistic support to students experiencing difficulty. Students are now able to fill out a scheduling form to request a meeting with Counseling Services or Student Relations.

Attend “Cope and Connect: A Space to Build Skills to Address our Emotional Well Being.” This virtual skills group teaches tangible skills focusing on three components including mindfulness, distress tolerance, and identifying and building on strengths. These virtual meetings are weekly on Wednesdays at 11am. RSVP through Campus Groups here. All students are welcome!

Counseling Services has provided resources for COVID-19, which can be found here.

Here are some additional resources provided by Counseling Services regarding suicide prevention, sexual health, substance use, disordered eating treatment and education, LGBTQIA+ services, first generation college students, international students, and more.

Counseling Services and Students Relations would love to engage with you!
