Involvement Week

Involvement Week

This year has looked different for connecting with our Columbia College community. Fortunately, the Student Organization Council (SOC) is putting on an event called Involvement Week! This week, February 22nd-26th, the SOC welcomes all new and returning students to a week events showcasing student involvement here at Columbia. “Grow into 2021 and bloom into new opportunities, interests, friends, and passions!”

While Involvement Week kicked off yesterday, there are still 14 events you can attend this week. They are mostly virtual, but all events can be found here, on the CampusGroups site. You can find descriptions of the events, dates, Zoom codes, registration portals, and any other details through CampusGroups

One event you especially don’t want to miss is Black Souls Welcome, which is a talent showcase made by and for Columbia’s Black students! This event is available to view now through March 31st in The Student Center and The Living Room (a new multimedia space on the 2nd floor of 618 S. Michigan). A virtual viewing of the event will also be on the Columbia College Chicago website. More details here.

You don’t want to miss out on this fun-filled week!
