As you are aware, we are embarking upon a new Master Plan project with our long-standing design partner, Gensler. The Master Plan is an effort to realize the Strategic Plan in space. It is an opportunity to build on our momentum that began with the success of the Student Center, with the goal of transforming how we engage with each other, our campus, our neighborhood, and our city.

A Master Plan being our 10-year outlook means that much of it will come to fruition over time, but you’ll still be able to experience it along the way through stories of our legacy, our sense of ownership & identity, our pride in our brand, and an understanding of our campus vision.

We want to develop this vision for our campus together, with all voices invited to contribute across different research methods currently being developed and led by Gensler. The campus-wide survey is an effective tool in engaging the wider community at Columbia, bringing together their voices, experiences, and priorities. We invite you to take a 10-15 min survey to ensure you are heard and encourage you to answer freely. All survey participants will be entered into a drawing to win a Columbia sweatshirt.
