Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alumnus Richard Peña ’15, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BA Program in Dance, will perform with Thodos Dance Chicago in the acclaimed company’s concert Saturday, February 25, at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, located at 9501 Skokie Blvd. in the northern Chicago suburb of Skokie. The concert, titled “Timeless Motion,” begins at 7:30 PM.
Highlights of the program include the world premieres of Changing Strangers by Melissa Thodos and Acid Reign by TDC guest choreographer Brian Enos. Also on the bill are Thodos’ 2015 work Near Light and three pieces that have emerged from the company’s “New Dances” in-house choreography series.

“Timeless Motion” will mark the final performance at the North Shore Center by Thodos Dance Chicago in its current ensemble-based form. After this season, Thodos is disbanding its permanent ensemble to focus on project-based work.
