Alluvion Dance Chicago — a contemporary dance company led by Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alums Johnny Huntoon ’16, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BA Program in Dance, and Morgan Cutler ’19, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BFA Program in Dance — presents Emergence, a virtual festival of work by emerging choreographers, on Friday and Saturday, June 25 and 26, at 7 PM CST each evening. The program on Friday, June 25, features work by (among others) Alluvion Dance Chicago under the direction of Johnny Huntoon and Morgan Cutler.
The program on Saturday, June 26, features work by (among others) Columbia College alums Nikki Flores ’17, a graduate of the Dance Center’s Dance BA program, and Nicole Steffensen ’21, who graduated Summa cum Laude with a BFA in Dance, as well as Alluvion Dance Chicago under the direction of Morgan Cutler and Johnny Huntoon.
Tickets are $10 (one ticket per viewer, please) and are available for the virtual pre-recorded dance festival here. The video link will be sent out at 7 PM CST on the evening of the performance and will remain active for viewing for one week from the premiere date.
