Human — a new dance/spoken word piece choreographed by Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alum Alexis Crump ’14, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BA Program in Dance — premieres November 10 and 11 at the Den Theatre, 1331 N. Milwaukee, in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. With narration by Ralph LaGuerre, Human uses contemporary dance to narrate a story of love, heartache, and the aftermath. The work is performed by Crump; alumni Richard Peña ’15, a graduate of the Dance Center’s Dance BA program, and Luis Segoviano ’13, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BFA Program in Dance; and student Kameron Johnson. Performances are Friday and Saturday, November 10-11, at 8 PM each night. For tickets, click here.
