Alluvion Dance Chicago — an emerging contemporary dance company founded and led by Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alum Johnny Huntoon ’16, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BA Program in Dance — presents “Emergence,” a summer festival of work by emerging choreographers, on Thursday and Friday, June 8 and 9, at Hamlin Park, 3035 N. Hoyne, Chicago. Performance time is 7:30 PM both nights, and the program is different each night.
The Thursday night program includes selections by Huntoon and Columbia College Dance BA student Kiefer Otto; Friday’s program includes selections by Huntoon and alum Nicole Flores ’17, a graduate of the Dance BA program. The performers include Flores and alum Julia Kummerow ’15, also a graduate of the Dance BA program. And the lighting designer is Claire Doty, a student in the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department‘s BA Program in Theatre Design. For tickets, click here.
