Alluvion Dance Chicago’s April 20 Performance Features Dance Center of Columbia College Alumni and Student Talent

Alluvion Dance Chicago — an emerging contemporary dance company founded and led by Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago alum Johnny Huntoon ’16, a graduate of the Dance Center’s BA Program in Dance — presents a new show under the direction of the company’s Rehearsal Director, Dance Center student Gabby Jolly, a junior in the Dance BA program. Titled in/house, the performance features choreography by Alluvion’s 2017 company exploring the idea of memories from their childhoods.

The ensemble includes Columbia College Dance Center alum Julia Kummerow ’15, a graduate of the Dance BA program. Alluvion’s resident lighting designer, Claire Doty, is a student in the Columbia College Chicago Theatre Department‘s BA Program in Theatre Design.

The performance takes place Thursday, April 20, at 7:30 PM at the Berger Park Cultural Center, a lakefront mansion at 6205 N. Sheridan, in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. For tickets, click here.
