The Lower East Side Printshop is now accepting applications for their Keyholder Residency Program. The program offers eight emerging artists free 24-hour access to printmaking facilities to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The year-long residency begins October 1st and takes place in the shared Artists’ Studio.
Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply. Residents will receive 24-hour shared studio access, $1,000 stipend, basic supplies, and opportunities to show new work in exhibitions.
Founded in 1968, the Lower East Side Printshop is a not-for-profit printmaking studio in New York City that helps contemporary artists create new artwork and advance their careers. Through the Printshop’s workspace residency programs, artists receive space and time to work, a stipend, technical assistance, career development, and public exposure.
