Attention Music Students!!!

ChicagoMade 2017 A&R Auditions is a DCASE program that provides Chicagoland based artists and bands the opportunity to showcase their work live in front of A&R executives from major and independent record labels.

Both solo artists and bands are invited to apply FREE of charge. All artists and bands must submit an application to be considered. A committee of industry professionals will review all submissions based on the criteria below and will choose artists/bands to fill a very limited number of audition slots.

*One artist or group will be chosen to perform at the Taste of Chicago 2018

*DCASE does not guarantee any outcomes from the auditions. If interested, the labels involved will contact participants directly.

Timeline
Submission Period: August 21 – September 11, 2017
Artist Notification: September 26, 2017
Auditions: October 28, 2017, 11am-4:30pm

Artists/Bands Selection Criteria

Artists/Bands must submit a link to a two minute live performance Youtube video
Artists/Bands must be 18+ years old
All genres are welcome
Artists/Bands will be evaluated based on the following (in no particular order): Stage presence, voice, originality, and creativity.
All participants must be available from 11am-4:30pm on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Artists/Bands must be residents of one of the following counties in Illinois:

– Cook County
– DeKalb County
– DuPage County
– Grundy County
– Kane County
– Kendall County
– McHenry County
– Will County
